As your Fulton County Commissioner for District 1, I bring the values of a lifetime with me — the grit of an athlete, the discipline of a problem‑solver, and the heart of someone who loves this community.
I listen first, understand the details, and focus on practical solutions that make life better for the people who call North Fulton home. Since taking office, I’ve fought as a fiscal conservative to keep the millage rate stable and block property tax increases, expanded wellness, mental‑health, and senior services, supported first responders while demanding accountability on public safety issues, protected neighborhood character while supporting responsible growth, and passed multiple resolutions to increase transparency and accountability in county operations. Through all of it, I’ve stayed grounded in one principle: never take shortcuts with the people’s trust.
I grew up in a family that believed in service, shaped by my mom’s Mexican heritage and her work as a bilingual teacher. From her, I learned empathy, humility, and the belief that hard‑working families create opportunity through hope and effort — the essence of the American dream.
At Georgia Tech, I carried those values with me as both an athlete and a student. Running taught me discipline and how to fight for the finish line when the work is hard. From my dad, I learned to dig into tough problems, understand the root cause, and never settle for quick fixes — a mindset that guides me every day in public service.

My focus has always been right here at home: listening to residents, showing up in our neighborhoods, and staying grounded in the issues that matter to North Fulton. While some may be drawn to political spotlights or spend their time campaigning elsewhere, my commitment is to this community and the trust you place in me. I will continue to serve with integrity, accountability, and a promise to never take shortcuts with the people’s trust.
My husband Kenny and I built our family here in North Fulton, and this community is home. My faith keeps me grounded, and being part of the schools, sports programs, and local traditions has shaped how I lead. Coaching young athletes — especially girls — has shown me how sports builds confidence, leadership, resilience, and the belief that they belong in every room they enter.
Professionally, I’ve spent my career as a software designer and UI/UX specialist, focused on making complex systems work better for people. With Lean Six Sigma training, I’ve always gravitated toward solving problems, improving processes, and helping organizations work better for the people they serve.
